New Years is a special time to take a look back over the last year, and plan for a brighter upcoming year. What do you want to do better? Something to make you or those around you feel better? Maybe look better? Oh, there’s so many different New Years Resolutions.
This year I’ve been on the lookout for the top 5 New Years Resolutions. I’ve come up with the top 5 New Years Resolutions, based on what I have heard from everyone. I have asked people to comment on my blog, letting me know what their New Years Resolutions is. I have also asked friends and family, as well as everyone on Facebook, etc. It’s been fun.
So check them out, you can leave me a comment and let me know if you agree. Maybe you’ve heard something else, or don’t agree with my answers. Either way, it’s fun so let’s go!
Get Skinny
I hear this one all the time, from guys and gals. Everyone wants to drop some pounds for their New Years Resolution. Cannot say that I blame them, it’s one of mine too. If you’re planning on buckling down and dropping that extra weight, GOOD LUCK! You can do it, just keep you’re head up. Dieting is hard work, but if you stick to it by this time next year you’ll be super hot!
Stop Smoking
I have heard this a lot as well. It’s an awesome start to the New Year! I can honestly tell you, it’s something I plan on doing this year as well. To everyone that plans of kicking the nasty habit, YOU CAN DO IT! Even if you’ve tried to quite before, don’t let it get you down. You can do anything you want. Be sure to check out all the free support that’s offered to help you quit smoking.
Enjoy Life
Agreed, we all need to stop and enjoy life a little. It’s so easy to get caught up in daily routines and forget to stop and smell the roses, relax, and have a little fun. Maybe you’re planning on taking up a new hobby, or just getting out more. Whatever you’re planning on doing, do it!
Spend More Time With Family
This is honestly the best New Years Resolutions I’ve heard. In my opinion there’s nothing more important than family. Spending more time with family and friends is a great New Years Resolutions. You can make plans with your friends and family to have lunch, get together for dinner, go out, or anything you enjoy doing more. Whether it’s once a week or once a month, make those plans and stick to them. You only have one family, and if you’re like me only a few real friends.
Pay Off Bills
Oh, yea don’t we all want to pay off some bills. I’m with you on that one. Paying off bills can really help your stress levels. I’m sure there’s millions of people who want to get our of debit for 2013. It’s an awesome New Years Resolutions, and you can do it! Stay focused, and discipline your spending habits.
I have to agree these are the Top 5 New Years Resolutions, and I can honestly tell you I want to do all five. Is there anything wrong with having more than one Resolution for New Years? I don’t think so, New Years is about a fresh start and doing things different, positive changes. If you’re bettering yourself I don’t think you can ever do too much. However, you might want to pace yourself. It’s easy to plan to do all 5 things, and get overwhelmed and not do any of them. One step at a time, you can accomplish all of your New Years Resolutions!
Good Luck, and Happy New Year! May 2013 be all you expect and more!
