Oh Bonefish Grill, how do I love thee, let me count the ways.
That’s right, its Bonefish time again kiddos. This time for the Fire + Ice menu and we got to take Mom along for the ride. Not me, because technically I’m mom too and it wouldn’t make any sense if I wasn’t there, but my mom. But I was there too. So I guess you could say we took Mom’s along for the ride. Does that even make sense?
Nevermind. Who needs sense? We have Bonefish.
So Fire + Ice. What is it? I’m not really sure. It may have something to do with spice and the cold ocean I think. Whatever it really means. It was yummy.
Since mom hadn’t been there before we started with the always classic Bang Bang Shrimp. I’m pretty sure my mom got to eat one or two bites with me, since it was pretty much devoured by my five year old daughter. I think even the hubby went short on the Bang Bang Shrimp this time. Speaking of the hubby…he got a burger. Can you believe that? I had a bite. I can believe it. For a place called BoneFISH, their Kobe Burger is nothing short of amazing. It was literally the best bite of a burger I have had in years. Judging by the way the hubby wolfed it down, I would say he agreed. This is the person who normally eats about half of his burger and saves the rest to put in the fridge and not eat later. I had the Oscar Turbot. Just so you know, Turbot is the fish. I wasn’t really sure what it was (I mean, I knew it was fish, I had just never heard of it before), but it was amazing. Topped with crab meat and served with these amazing mushroom ravioli. Yummy. Mom (My mom, not me mom) had the Lobster Thermidor Mahi Mahi. Just so you know, that’s Mahi Mahi with Lobster Thermidor on it. NOT Lobster Thermidor with Mahi Mahi on it. Not that it matters that much because it was awesome. Ahh Bonefish. Once again you didn’t disappoint.
If you haven’t been to Bonefish Grill lately what are you waiting for? Stop in and experience Fire + Ice!
