My kid loves Lego’s. A Lot. She loves leaving them on the floor. She loves leaving them on the couch. She loves leaving them all over for the dog to chew on. Yeah, she loves Lego’s. The hubby is pretty good at keeping after her to pick them up, because they’re kind of his Lego’s too, but they drive me crazy. And then there’s the issue of organizing them. Let’s just say that the hubby has a “system.” That system involves him sifting through a bin full of Lego’s for hours on end sorting through them and putting them into smaller bins.
Well now he has a better way to sort them and that is Box4Blox. This is a unique storage box/sorting container. It works like a coin sorter. Large pieces stay at the top, Lego’s fall through the bottom through gradually shrinking openings. The tiny pieces fall all the way to the bottom, the large pieces stay at the top, the two trays in between have medium size pieces.
The hubby loves it, so does my daughter…I think. She doesn’t get to use it as much as the hubby does. But when the hubby does let her near it she gets a kick out of it. She dumps her bin in and shakes it around to sort her pieces so she can build. Yesterday she made a car. I think it was a car. It had 7 wheels and a propeller and a tree. The closest I can think of is a car.
If there is one complaint, it would be the size. It seems smaller than I thought it would be and when you are talking about the hubby’s Lego collection that can be an issue. But other than that it’s a win.
