LEAF Vodka Review ##LEAFVodka

I remember growing up when I was junior or senior in high school, my parents had a bar in the basement, now we may or may not have stolen a drink here or there of their vodka. And then we may have replaced it with water. Why am I telling you this? Well it’s because my parents drank vodka that was cheap enough that apparently they didn’t even notice or they thought it was my older sister so they just kept their mouth shut. So vodka was pretty well ruined for me in to my adult life from one to many nights filled with vodka.

It was for this reason that I was a little unsure of trying new vodka. So to make it better I mixed it with my favorite Bloody Mary mix. And what I did was actually more of a taste test. I took some very cheap grocery store vodka and then Leaf Organic Vodka and mixed the same amounts with Bloody Mary mix and had my husband mix them up so I wouldn’t know which drink had what.

I took a sip of one and it was pretty good. I took a drink of next one and the flavor was so very different. The taste of all of the spices seemed to be smoother and come more alive. I know it sounds crazy right, but as someone who only drinks cheap vodka in Bloody Mary’s it was a whole new experience.

LEAF Organic Vodka one being distilled from an Alaskan Glacier and the other from Rocky Mountain Mineral Water. Hmmm…very intriguing. Over all the experience with this product was great! I didn’t get a head ache from having more than one Bloody Mary like I normally do. I just may start to branch out with vodka now, maybe even with orange juice next time!

Thanks for your terrific review on LEAF Vodka Review ##LEAFVodka! No, you don't drink Vodka! LOL I'm not a drinker, however, once in a while I may have one. I'm more of a fancy drink person. Last Summer was the first vacation that our family has taken in over 10 years and I purchased a Pina Colada drink mix and some rum. You know, they are still sealed! Not being a drinker, I totally forgot that I had them packed in our mobile home! I remembered it after we got home and unloaded! With things the way they are now, I doubt we can afford to take another wonderful vacation again this year. If things keep up the way they are, I just might have to get them out and drink the whole bottle! I'm so over not being able to afford anything! Anyway, thanks for sharing your terrific review and how you taste tested the LEAF Vodka with all of us! I do appreciate it & I do love reading your reviews! Thanks! Michele :)

I think when we were teens, if it was in the house, we all sampled whatever was there. Is this going to be a giveaway?

I would like to try the vodka made in Alaska. You can make so many drinks out of vodka. I enjoyed your review

Lol. I did the same thing with my parent's vodka! It was always sitting in the kitchen almost just for decoration because they never drank it. I would fill it with water to replace what I had drunk. Years pass...Thanksgiving several years ago and for some strange reason my mom decides to have a drink. This is extremely out of the ordinary for her, but my dad made her a drink from that vodka bottle which by then must have been just plain water. She got all tipsy and then I admitted what I had done so many years ago. There must have been some vodka left in that bottle or else it was a placebo effect that got her drunk! Still makes me chuckle.

Vodka was ruined for me too, but for different reasons, especially the Cheap Vodka. If I ever drink it again I will try this Brand. Thanks for the Post and the Review!

It's an awful shame that so many people drink the cheap supermarket stuff and never realise that vodka has a wonderful smooth unique taste all its own. If I have a drink these days I prefer to buy the good stuff & just have it straight from the freezer!
