I’m hard on electronics. I’ve said it before. Cameras. Phones. Laptops. Heck I even have a digital audio recorder that has managed to get messed up. Granted the dog chewed on that one so it’s not technically my fault, but as the hubby says “If it was mine and not yours it wouldn’t have gotten chewed up by the dog because I would have taken care of it.” I’d smack him, except his smart phone is over three years old and still in perfect shape (and I mean like not even a scratch). And then again I’d smack him, except that his laptop, same model, purchased at the same time as mine, is still in perfect shape. Unlike mine with its missing keys and scratched screen and battery that lasts two minutes. If it doesn’t work unplugged, is it still technically a laptop? Either way, I have finally convinced the hubby it is time for a new laptop, and I am seriously looking at the new Toshiba Satellite Radius 12.
It turns out that I am on the go with my laptop a lot. Posting to social media, writing, taking pictures and trying to do all that from my phone is annoying. So what if I had a device with the full functionality of my laptop but the convenience of a smaller lighter form factor? I’d be in heaven. Imagine being able to take a picture with my phone and then see it on a full size screen in full color depth? Or being able to carry my main computer around without developing a bent spine? Or being able to flip the screen over and use a touch screen? Or being able to run more than 1 browser window at once? What if the screen was made from Gorilla Glass so that I couldn’t destroy it? The hubby’s ears just perked up. I think it’s time to head off to my favorite tech destination, Best Buy, to see about getting me a sweet deal on a fancy new laptop. There better not be any Black Friday shoppers forming lines yet, because I’m coming through!
