I don’t think there is a single person out there who has, at one point in time or another, had a rough time getting to sleep. Then, if we do get to sleep, staying asleep is the other problem. As it happens, reBloom Natural Sleep Drink came at a great time. I have been experiencing a very stressful time in my life and for me that means sleep eludes me.
From past experience, I know that you always want to make sure you are in a position to lie down and be ready for sleep as soon as you take a sleep aid. If you don’t do this, and your mind and body fight the sleep aid, the very thing that you just took to help you sleep can have adverse effects. This can result making you more exhausted and it can even make it more difficult to fall asleep.
So, last night, I was ready for bed. I had my nightly cup of water on the nightstand, my fan was going, and I had gone to the potty twice; my ritualistic potty process, and I was ready for sleep. I am strange about new drinks so when I opened the reBloom the first thing that I did was smell it. I have to be honest, I’m not a big fan of the smell, it smells very “herbally” (is that a word?) to me but that wasn’t going to hold me back from giving it a try.
The first sip made me think of a watered down herbal lemon tea. I had also figured that most things taste better cold so fortunately for me, I had put my reBloom in the refrigerator earlier. I personally feel this helped to improve the taste. Overall, it wasn’t bad. It had a slight lingering aftertaste but I would most definitely drink it again.
Once the bottle was empty I rolled over and got in my comfortable sleeping position. At that point, I was ready for sleep! Normally I toss and turn, flip my pillow, and cover and uncover. It didn’t take long for my body to relax, I felt very clam, and I started to doze. Now, let me preface this by saying this may not happen as quickly for everyone as it did for me. I have had gastric bypass surgery so a lot of products, from medications to sleep aids, take affect much faster. Everyone’s results will vary based on how quickly the drink reacts with their system; I would recommend you be ready for sleep once you drink your reBloom, just to be on the safe side.
I do recall turning over in my sleep twice but when I woke up I was still a tad groggy. I attribute this grogginess to the fact that I slept more than I normally do. I am used to a good 6 to 7 hours of sleep and I got about 8 with the reBloom. Make sure you give yourself more than enough time to “sleep off” the drink or just go to bed a little earlier.
Either way, sweet dreams!
