I love Jurassic Park. I’ve seen it more than once. It was on the other day and I watched it. The interesting thing about this particular viewing was that it had a sneak preview of Jurassic World. Now ever since Guardians of the Galaxy I have loved me some Chris Pratt, so I was definitely looking forward to the sneak preview, and the movie itself, and slathering Chris Pratt up with…umm yes hubby dear, I’m writing a review.
Now don’t get me wrong, I have an HD TV. A nice big Samsung TV hanging on my wall. And watching the movie preview really got me excited about the movie.
And then I went to Best Buy.
And I was disappointed.
In my TV.
You see, Best Buy has an event going on right now. An event that includes exclusive previews of Jurassic World on the new Samsung SUHD TVs! And wow, are they impressive. Talk about an amazingly impressive picture. They have this curved screen to help convey depth. Let me put it this way. Have you ever taken a picture of something and part of it was in focus and part wasn’t? A picture of your family on vacation and they’re in focus but the stuff in the background is fuzzy. I was taking a picture of the preview on the Samsung SUHD TV (don’t worry, I was supposed to) and that happened. I can’t explain it, but as I sat there looking at the screen it looked fine, I looked at a picture I had taken and part of it was out of focus. Part of the picture on the TV screen. These new screens have such a high level of detail that it fooled my camera.
Seriously, head to a Best Buy near you, go to the Samsung Shop area, check out the exclusive Jurassic World clip, and see for yourself the difference of 4K. Don’t believe me? Okay, okay, let’s discuss this. Why a SUHD TV, you ask? Samsung 4K SUHD TVs reveal more colors and a brighter picture which enhance your viewing experience. If you want to get technical, the 4K SUHD TV is powered by an innovative panel featuring Nano-crystal technology. The television’s immersive curved screen portrays a greater sense of depth. And easily access content that you love with the advanced Samsung Smart TV. A little too technical? Let’s break this down a little further.

As for me, I’m not so sure I don’t want to get a new TV. I keep telling my husband that I am on the fence but yeah, I totally want one. Now, the big question is, after purchasing the TV, do I wait for the movie to come to cable? Then again, Chris Pratt … hmmm… decisions, decisions.
