Bad Moms is opening in theaters nation-wide! I can’t wait to go with my mom and sisters. Last week I shared with you some fun from the Bad Moms Press Junket which was filled with Cocktails, , Interviews, and FUN! Today, I thought you may be interested in the happenings from Day Two of the event … the Bad Moms Social. Day Two of the event afforded us the opportunity to sit down with talent from the film plus much, MUCH more!
It was a little after noon on Friday, July 8th when we arrived at the swanky SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. We checked in at the Social, had our credentials checked, and were given directions on some fun that was in store for the day. I looked around the room in an attempt to take a mental picture of everything going on and couldn’t help but be wowed by the beauty and fun tucked into every nook and cranny.
I reminded myself that I was in Los Angeles but not just LA … Beverly Hills. ME, a 30 something mamma from Cincinnati! One room had artists dedicated to makeup and hair, there was a spread of food running down the center of the hall, and at the far end was a bartender serving bubbly drinks with raspberries. One corner was setup with a photo booth and the room was filled with laughter and chatter. I couldn’t help but smile.
Knowing that the day was packed full of activities, I checked my cell, glanced at my itinerary, and realized that I needed to get moving if I was going to take advantage of all the day had to offer. Up first, a visit to the SPA!
After receiving some much needed direction from a few staffers, I found myself in an elevator on my way to the right floor. I busied myself with my phone for the short ride and then I took note of a familiar voice. As the elevator chimed to let me know we were at my stop, I glanced around and couldn’t help but smile as I spotted Christina Applegate, holding her daughter, and exchanging laughs and banter about being hungry for lunch and ready to eat. I likely turned bright red but she smiled at me as I exited. After regaining my composure, I made my way to the Ciel Spa for an hour long facial where I allowed all of my stress to melt away and focused on relaxation.
After my timeout for a little mommy relaxation it was time to get back to work. I made it back to the Social in time to pick up a sweet swag bag and make my way to the cast interviews. Our interviews took place on the patio. As we stepped outside there was a bar setup where a bartender was pouring mimosas and there were stations set up with small sweet and savory treats. I picked up a glass, made a small plate, and found an open seat with some friends. Then it was time to work!

After the interviews were complete we were free to enjoy the other activities that the Social had to offer. One of my favorites allowed us to take scenario photos. I grabbed a few friends, accessorized, and we let the good times roll. It was oh so wrong yet ohhhh so right at the same time. Here are a couple of my favorites!
I also enjoyed a massage from Zeel and had a taping with the Bad Moms social media team. Then, a friend and I smiled for black and white photos in the mirmir photo booth. The photo booth was so cool, I even went back for a few photos of my own! ;)
Two days in LA and serious fun! A whirlwind event would be putting it mildly. That night it was dinner with friends and then sleep before heading home.
Thank you STX Entertainment and Bad Moms for the fun! The interviews alone were fantastic but the additional perks were simply amazing. I created memories with some amazing women and I will never two days of celebrating being a Bad Mom! ;)
Stay tuned for our review of Bad Moms which we will be sharing TOMORROW!

BAD MOMS – In Theaters July 29
In this new comedy from the grateful husbands and devoted fathers who wrote The Hangover, Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap.
Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.

I went on an all-expenses paid trip to Los Angeles for the Bad Moms Press Junket. Regardless, all opinions expressed are my own.
