I’ve never been a girly, girl. Don’t get me wrong, I really like to look beautiful with my hair done and make-up; these are just not skills that I acquired throughout the years. In all honesty, normally when you see me with makeup on and my hair done, it is all thanks to my little sister. Yes, I said my sister that is 6 years younger than me. Somehow she learned all of this “stuff” but me …. not so much.

Enough about me, let’s fast forward a bit, shall we? I was so excited when I got pregnant and even more excited when we found out that we were having a girl. That excitement turned to fear when my sister, the little one, had a giggle fest and informed me that not only was pink going to be my new favorite color, I was also going to have to learn about hair, makeup, accessories, clothes, etc… The list went on and on and my head began to spin. If I am not capable of taking care of some of these things for myself, how in the world was I going to be able to do this for my daughter? It really isn’t nice to mess with a pregnant lady’s emotions … I cried, like a baby, much longer than I would have had I not been pregnant.

Then all happened, a miniature version of me was born and all of the fun began. Luckily, nobody made me Velcro those little bows into her hair. I’m sorry if you are a fan of them but me, not so much. As she began to grow her hair got longer and I became more excited by the prospect of making her look like a pretty princess. Yes, I fell in love with pink and everything pretty! The problem, I still don’t do hair well. Thanks to Baby Boutique by Girls Crochet Headbands, this is no longer a problem … well … for the time being until she wants me to braid her hair and then I am completely hosed.

We received boutique package containing a Pink Chery Blossom Headband, Black/Pink Floral Shabbby Chick Headband, Red Flapper Headband, Hot Pink Classy Headband, and Turquoise Rosette Bow Headband. Each headband is made from beautiful, soft fabrics with bright colors that allow me to match the color of the headband to her outfit for the day. Now, anytime there is a special occasion we are able to add a headband for a little extra sparkle and glam without mommy freaking out because she doesn’t know how to do hair. Each headband is made from high quality materials, are durable, and the headband part of the design is flexible which will allow my daughter to continue wearing them as she gets older. Did I mention that they are absolutely, positively adorable and I fell in love with them as soon as I opened the package?

Those are cute, but I've never liked a bow or clips on my daughters hair when she was a baby. They grab at thing too much. And whatever they get a hold of goes in the mouth. When she was a bit older I would use hair clips.

That's cute as long as the baby has hair. I've seen infant baby girls, newborn with frilly headbands on. It looked a bit silly.
