Storks Movie Review ~ In Theaters Now

Have you ever wondered where babies come from? Or have you had to explain it to a child? No, it’s not the cabbage patch. And no it’s not from mommy’s tummy. That’s so Old School.

storks

No. Babies are delivered by the Storks. At least they used to. Now they deliver packages for cornerstore.com, but when orphan Tulip accidentally activates the baby making machine, Junior, the top delivery stork, has to figure out how to deliver the baby without the boss finding out. What follows is a totally adorable and cute adventure that will help the storks rediscover their purpose. Hint, it’s not delivering packages.

So what is my take?

Let me start out by saying that if you are trying to have a baby, and things aren’t going so well or you have perhaps adopted, this movie might be a bit hard to watch. I know there were parts that made me and the wife a little teary eyed. But with that caveat, I really liked the movie. Any movie with a wolf pack and a million adorable babies (trust me) definitely gets my vote. We loved it, my daughter loved it, it held her attention (always a bonus). I am already planning on going back to see it.

About the Movie:
Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for a global internet retail giant. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.

This is definitely a movie that I want to see (and own). It's so refreshing to see a movie that doesn't require a lot of thinking; just good, clean entertainment.
