Mom and dad always had a camera with them when I was growing up. They would snap pictures of everything, take them in to get developed, and then the pictures were added to one of dozens of family albums. Of course, that was then and this is now. Thanks to the advances in technology there are still thousands of pictures being taken on a daily basis but mainly by cell phones … I guess I should say smartphones or Iphones. We have thousands upon thousands of pictures of our daughter but they are all on our digital camera, a memory stick, our cell phones, on Facebook, etc… We rarely get physical prints of our pictures and I don’t even have a baby book put together (I know … I’m applying for mother of the year award as I type this) much less an entire family album.

I have been looking for something that would allow me to work with the photos that I have and recently, I found it! It is also important for me to note that I am NOT crafty … I mean … at all! Thanks to Picture Collage Maker from PearlMountain Technology, I don’t have to be! That’s right, we are talking two birds with one stone … ring-a-ding-ding!

Picture Collage Maker is an easy-to-use collage maker that enables you to create masterpieces on both Windows and Mac OS X. The program allows you to excel with the ease of use while hugely reducing manual work.

So how does it work?

Start with a blank canvas or build from a predesigned template. Drag and drop photos, shuffle them around as needed, and then start the process of customizing your collage. Then, export and share your collage. Pretty simple … eh?

Picture Collage Maker offers over 140 beautiful templates for all occasions. They also offer a ton of decorations ranging from backgrounds, frames, masks, clipart, etc… There are also a number of customizing features such as resizing, cropping, rotating, text, calendar, etc…

The new Picture Collage Maker creation can be shared across social medial, saved as an image file, set as desktop wallpaper, or printed instantly.

As I mentioned before, I am NOT crafty … that is why my daughter doesn’t have a baby book BUT that is about to change. Within a few minutes of uploading my pictures I was able to create cutie pie collages that I plan on putting to good use. I didn’t have to fumble my way through, I didn’t have to read instructions; although they are provided (along with a short video), and I didn’t have to call my programmer husband in from the other room to provide technical support (WIN!).

Here are a few of my first creations for your viewing pleasure (you’ll love the Twilight collage), although … I think I will become far more impressive after using the program a little longer. Thanks to the Picture Collage Maker there are a lot of options available that will allow me to look crafty with just a few clicks of a button and I plan on taking advantage of them all!!

Have you ever used a collage maker? Which program do you use?
