So I’m in the market for a new phone. My current phone (I won’t mention the brand or model) is just not up to snuff. But every time I get a new phone the hubby issues “The Directive.” It varies in the exact language he uses depending on what may have happened to the phone that needs replacing but it usually boils down to “Thou shalt not touch thy new phone until it is encased within an OtterBox.” And he’s serious. One phone I wasn’t allowed to move from the kitchen counter for three days while we waited for the OtterBox Defender to arrive. The problem is that I’m not sure what phone to get.
However, I think I just found something to heavily influence my choice of phones. The new OtterBox uniVERSE system available at Best Buy is exactly the protection I need to go with a sleek new iPhone 6.

For starters it’s an OtterBox, which means it is up to the hubby’s standard for cases that will prevent me from destroying my new phone. But the OtterBox uniVERSE system is something new. Imagine being able to securely connect a battery pack for extra power during a long day of sight-seeing on vacation? Or a tripod for super stable pictures (or super low-light pictures that require you to hold the camera still)? Or special camera lenses that let you take pictures like a true professional? Or a clip that lets you hook your phone onto a car vent so you can use it safely as a GPS device? Or a thermal imaging device that lets you spy on your neighbors at night? Oh wait. Umm, forget that last one. I would never do that. Really. Never. I mean you could use it to find warm spots in your house that need more insulation. Yeah. That’s what I would use that for.

The point is that the OtterBox uniVERSE case has an accent plate on the back that slides off and lets you securely attach a whole variety of phone accessories. All while providing a slim sleek case that you can still slip in and out of your pocket on a daily basis. There are so many different accessories you could almost do anything you want with your phone, the possibilities are endless. Kind of like the uniVERSE. Get it?
