Recently, I was given the opportunity to try out Mystelic’s Nature’s Best Vitamin C Serum. I’m in my early 30s and unfortunately already able to see the effects that the sun, aging, and motherhood (maybe this is the same as aging) has had on my skin. That being said, I also suffer from sensitive skin, combination skin, and rosacea. Needless to say, I have to be really careful about anything I put on my skin; especially my face. I researched the product, researched the company, held my breath, and said yes to the review!
I have been using Nature’s Best Vitamin C Serum for a few weeks and really like it. As recommended, I apply a small amount of serum with my fingertips to a cleansed face and neck area (avoiding the eyes). I then allow the serum time to absorb. Mystelic recommends that you apply 1 to 2 times a day depending on an individual’s skin needs and sensitivity. Although I do have skin issues, rosacea and combination skin (always oily during summer), I also suffer from sensitive skin so I apply the serum once a day, right before bed; this has been perfect for me.
At the end of the first week I noticed that my skin seemed brighter. At the end of week two my skin looked and felt healthier. After three weeks of use I noticed that my skin tone is evening out. The redness and blotching caused by my rosacea isn’t as apparent and my skin doesn’t feel icky and oily within a couple of hours after I shower. Overall, I feel like my face just looks healthier. I don’t know if I look younger, my husband said I am looking great but I tend to be critical of myself when it comes to aging.
As a side, I have been using Nature’s Best Vitamin C Serum on scars that I have on my tummy due to surgery and on cracks in my heels. So far, the results have been great and I plan on continuing my regiment.
I should note that this is my first time using Vitamin C Serum so unfortunately, I don’t have anything to compare it to. What I can say is I really like Nature’s Best; it is a great product. I did however take the time to run some price comparisons on Amazon and Nature’s Best is not overpriced. I recommend this product to anyone looking to decrease the effects of pre-mature aging, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and loss of elasticity while boosting firmness and revitalization.
