I’m not going to rehash the past. By now you should know that my daughter loves to color. Crayons, markers, colored pencils, chalk, oil paint, tempura paint, water paint, dry erase markers, Aquadoodle thingy. You name it, she will color with it. On paper, on the fridge, on the wall, on the floor, in the tub, on grandma’s TV.
Helpful hint, if you ever have a toddler draw on your shiny new flat screen TV with a permanent marker and have to figure out what to do before grandma gets home and murders you and said toddler, Lysol Power and Free wipes with Hydrogen Peroxide work wonders.
So I said I wasn’t go to rehash the past, but apparently I just did. Oh well. Back to my point, the kid really likes to color. Well now we have a brand new entry in the pantheon of coloring tools, Liquid Chalkers by Paper & Twine. As the name implies, these are liquid chalk markers. They are perfect for drawing on any kind of non-porous surface. So glass windows or ceramic or anything like that. The first thing my daughter did was to get a glass out of the cupboard and draw all over it. Don’t worry, it all came off in the dishwasher but it’s a lot easier to clean up than that, just a dry or damp rag will wipe it right off. Next up were the windows. You don’t have to worry about the permanent marker on the window with these. Let the kids draw all they want on the windows and then wipe off. Or you could even let the grown-ups use them. These would be perfect for decorating scenes on your windows for Halloween or Christmas. I foresee the hubby attempting to draw lights on the house instead of putting up real ones; excuse me while I go set him straight.
