I’m that person. You know the one. If you look at my car keys I have pepper spray. And a little baton. And a multi-tool. And a picture of my niece (more like seven of those actually). And my graduation year carved from wood. And a whistle. And a Thirty-One key fob. And a trinket from my last vacation. And a little flashlight. And about 47 store loyalty cards. Oh, and two keys.
Yes, I am that person. If someone tried to steal my purse they would get about 3 feet before the weight of my keychain caused them to pass out from exhaustion. You can’t just pick up my keys and go, it took years of training and practice to be able to lug them around successfully.
So when I got the chance to add a lovely stylish keychain from Jonathan Adler Stationery and Gifts my response was something along the lines of “DUH!!!! Of course I do!!” So now in addition to the 62 trinkets (and two keys) I have this gorgeous new fox. I’m not exactly sure if it’s art deco or modernist or whatever, but I do know it is funky and cool looking. One of the nicer things is that it does actually have a large key ring to let me put all my other “stuff” on one key chain. So while it’s big (measuring 3 x 2 3/4 in), the weight is offset by the removal of all the other keyrings. What can I say? I’m a serious engineer like that.
