I love a deal. I am always on the lookout for a sale or clearance on the things I want. But what if you don’t want “things?” What if you want an experience? What if you want a service? Those are a little harder to find on sale. And clearance? Forget it. Experiences don’t go on clearance. So finding deals on experiences is a little harder. Or it was, right up until Groupon was created. I remember when Groupon just had the Deal of the Day. I would check it out every day looking for the next awesome limited deal. Fortunately Groupon has grown up a little since then. Now they have deals on getaways and products and coupons. Oh My!! They even have a clearance section!! But just because they have grown doesn’t mean they have strayed from their roots.
Finding you deals on awesome local stuff is still something that Groupon does like no one else. This can mean a whole lot of different things. Do you need to get a massage? What about a Brazilian wax (not me by the way. Ouch!) Maybe you need to get away for a spa day? Groupon has local Health, Beauty & Wellness Groupons for that. Just about anything you could possibly need, Groupon has a Groupon for it. Do you see how I did that? I used Groupon as a noun and a verb. Or is it a noun and an adjective? Noun and an object participle? Maybe what I really need is to go re-watch some Schoolhouse Rock. I wonder if there is a Groupon for that? Turns out there is. But maybe I just need that spa day to get away. Yeah I know there are Groupons for that.
