Libian Long Maxi Dress
I have always been a huge fan of maxi dresses, I love them, but they don’t always love me. See, I am short and short girls and maxi dresses just don’t seem to mix. However, if there is one thing that I have found with just about anything I wear, with the right pair of heels, I can make any outfit work!
I have a few maxi dresses but have to admit they really are not all that flattering. Comfortable? Yes. Flattering? Not so much. The cinching at the top hugs the curves of my bust enough to hide my tummy, which is not my favorite part of my body, so that is a bonus but that is about it. As for my butt, it really doesn’t do anything for my butt. Then again, let’s be honest, a lot of dresses don’t.
So, now that we have discussed the pros and cons of maxi dresses in general, let’s talk about the Women’s Maxi Dress from Libian in junior plus sizes! First, I ordered the size that was suggested for me based on the size chart and the dress is a little big on me. I could have ordered a size down and been just fine. You may want to keep this in mind when ordering.
The fabric of the dress is really cool and even though it is a longer dress it isn’t heavy; double bonus during the summer months in Cincinnati! If you are going out with friends or out to a nice dinner you can dress this maxi up or down with a little jean jacket or a great pair of earrings. I think that is one of my favorite things about the dress … it’s flexible. I can wear it for just about any occasion as long as I accessorize appropriately.

Overall, I LOVE this dress. The color is bright and very eye catching. The design on the dress is simple yet beautiful which is perfect for my style. I have had numerous people compliment the dress and ask where I got it from. The dress that I selected is blue; however, it is also available in black, fuchsia, and red. I definitely need one or two more to add to my arsenal of attire. WHAT? A girl has to have choices, right?
