Bark is a fun sweet treat that I have noticed a lot of friends making recently. Why? First, it is simple. Second, you can add anything you want to make it fun and it works. Third, it is CHOCOLATE! In celebration of the release of PAW Patrol Aqua Pups, we have created a fun treat: PAW Patrol Aqua Pups Oreo Pretzel Bark.
Super easy to make and yummy to boot Oreo Pretzel Bark is extra chocolatey with lots of crunchy bits of Oreo and pretzel.
What do you need?
- About 32oz of white chocolate
- Blue and Purple gel food coloring
- Pretzels (twists or snaps)
- Oreos
Melt the Chocolate
Melting chocolate takes some practice. I’m not going to lie. If you stick with it, you will get results. The key? Don’t overheat it.
Put your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power. Stir. It won’t be super melty at first. Microwave it for another 30 seconds at 50% power. Stir. Is it starting to melt? Just a little? Put it back in the microwave, at 50%, for 15 seconds. Take it out and stir. Repeat until the chocolate is melted. You will start to see that the chocolate melts a little at a time, until all of a sudden it becomes super easy to stir. There might be one or two chips or wafers not melted. Resist the temptation to put it in the microwave.
Color the chocolate
Scoop out some melted chocolate into two small bowls and add the blue and purple gel food coloring.
Add the crunchy bits
In the main bowl with the uncolored chocolate, add the broken up Oreos and pretzels. Add them to the uncolored chocolate and stir.
Put it all together
Spread the mixture out on a cookie sheet lined with Parchment paper or waxed paper. Drop spoonful’s of blue and purple chocolate onto the mixture and swirl with a toothpick to make fancy looking swirl patterns

Notes
The easiest way to melt chocolate (in my opinion), is the microwave. Put your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 50% for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat once. Stir. Then start microwaving at 50% in 15 second increments. Stir EVERY TIME.
