I have a cousin who’s a graphic designer and I’ve seen some of her works which include anything and everything from brochures to TV ads. One thing for sure, you gotta be very creative in this line of work. If you have no artistic talent, other designers who do will drive right over you!

As the saying goes ‘a picture is worth a thousand words,’ and a great graphic designer is able to create a visual that conveys those words. When it comes to graphic design I am in total agreement, I think it’s an industry that will continue to grow.

I had no idea that Graphic Design encompassed all of that! I thought (vaguely) that it was basically just illustrations. It DOES sound very rewarding! I imagine that you need a certain amount of raw talent, as well as education, to be successful at this. More power to Graphic Designers!

its only after reading an article like this that i begin to try and remember what technology was like pre-internet… and it was a bit rubbish really lol! we, well i am regularly guilty of taking the work ppl like teressa do for granted, its become readily available so a little kick up the bum now and again to remind me that it is pretty amazing is a good thing… good article! <3
