Girl, Get Your Money Straight for Black History Month

I do the usual things. Shop sales, use coupons... We don't live beyond our means in general. If we can't pay for something,we wait.

Girl, Get Your Money Straight sounds like a great financial resource. Something I do to keep my finances in check is that I do not spend money I do not have. Basically, if I am going to use a credit card to buy something, I make sure that I have the money to make the purchase first.

Sometimes it's difficult. One day, you're doing great, the next an emergency can come up.

I know some people who should be using this resource, they're always complaining about their lack of cash and they've actually spent quite a large sum on an upcoming vacation to Disneyland. To me it seems very irresponsible.
