Vimbly — See the Best Things to Do in Town

So one of these days I want to go to Orlando. Now don’t get me wrong, the main reason is because of a certain large amusement park or two that I would like to take my daughter to. But I would kind of like to do other stuff too. There’s only so much Mickey and Princesses that one can take. Maybe a day at the park and then a day doing something else and then a day back at the park, etc.

I would also like to go visit New York. I’ve never been there and I would love to go during the holidays. You know, when it’s all snowy and lit up for Christmas!

There’s only one problem. I don’t know anyone in either of these cities to tell me about anything there is to do or places to go.

So I’m pretty sure that if I ever get a chance to go on one of the vacations I will be turning to for some help.

By now you are probably asking yourself what is Vimbly is a way to find stuff to do, see how much it costs, and make reservations to do it. Going to Orlando (hint hint) and want to take a trip to see Manatees or a day trip to see the oldest European settlement in the US (St. Augustine). Turn to Vimbly. Going to New York City (hint hint) and want to take a food trip through Greenwich Village or a trip to the Met or an evening cruise around the Statue of Liberty. Turn to

Now I just need to get them to come to Cincinnati…

Vimbly shows open time slots for activities, classes, & date ideas by different businesses on a single page and lets users book directly.  These activities include dance, cooking, glassblowing, pizza making, wine tasting, intro to cigars, learning to DJ, improv, scotch pairing, samurai sword fighting, persuasion class, and thousands more.

Vimbly currently operates in 18 major US cities and expects to establish a national presence in 2015.

That would make vacationing much easier. When you're in a strange town, you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb.
