But he’s still useful for some things, like fixing things that break and putting together toys for our actual kid. The problem comes when he wants to play with the toys and our daughter doesn’t get a chance. And so it went with the latest Techno Gears Marble Mania Galaxy 2.0.

What is Marble Mania?  Well as the name suggests, it has marbles. You build up a race track, put the marbles on it and watch them wind around the track. When we last saw Marble mania, it was the Dual Speedway 2.0. Their latest marble craze steps it up a notch.

First as the name “Galaxy” implies, it has an outer space theme.  To say the hubby was excited about that would be an understatement. Plus it looks really cool. Glow in the dark track. Lights. It’s pretty sweet I have to admit.

Second, and even cooler, a motorized spiral lifter…thingy. I don’t know what it’s called but the marbles zip down through the track, hit the lifter thingy and go right back up to the top and back down again. So hours of building fun and then tons of action! And the really cool thing is that you can also combine this set with other Marble Mania sets. How cool is that? Next thing you know my house is going to be covered with Marble Mania. Oh, joy.

It looks like it could be dangerous. I can imagine a room slowly filling up with this.

This looks like fun. I can see how a kid, and a husband, would enjoy this.
