287769HCQrectangle300x250Have you ever taken a quiz about Cancer?  I hadn’t either until recently, you can take one too!  Check it out…

Myriad Genetics’ Hereditary Cancer Quiz helps you to assess whether you might be a good candidate for testing. This quiz can help you get the information you need to discuss your risk of cancer with your healthcare provider and ask for further evaluation. If you take the quiz and find red flags in your own history or your family history, you may benefit from hereditary cancer testing.

Interesting quiz. Makes me realize that I'm very lucky in my family history of no cancer.

Coming from a family of cancer survivors, this is such a good article! We had the testing and it came back negative for genetics, but we grew up in the coal fields, so, the doctors feel it is environmentally induced. I've met so many others though who have tested positive for the gene and it has saved their lives because they would be checked for early diagnosis and had a better survival rate. Thanks bunches!!!

This is the first time I have ever seen one of these. My father passed away at age 48 with cancer. My mother had breast cancer. I hate the word cancer!

I took the quiz until I got to the part where they require my name and email address before I get my result so they can "provide me with education." In small print, it also says "Your quiz results will automatically be sent to the healthcare provider that asked you to take the quiz." Forgive me, but I'm too skeptical to go ahead with it. Thanks anyway--it was a good idea.
