Being active in animal rescue and animal advocacy as I am, the best advice I can give anyone is to ALWAYS adopt and to ALWAYS spay and neuter.

Puppies that come from flea markets are PUPPY MILL dogs. I warned my sister and warned her, and she bought her puppy there right before Christmas. He was dead less than a week after. The “breeder” gave her another puppy who has had some problems too. I understand that they need love and everything, but supporting the puppies coming out of those places is not helping anything. Thanks to bloggers and people like you, the word is now getting out there about the horrible conditions that these puppies are coming from. As a vet assistant, I’ve seen it all frist hand and I can tell you that the conditions (even though the puppies look fine) is not pretty.
