The hubby likes to grill. A lot. He’s terrible at it. But he enjoys it. Don’t get me wrong, he’s getting better. But that’s not saying much. It was a big step forward getting a propane grill instead of the old charcoal grill. The charcoal grill took forever and he burned everything. The propane grill heats up a lot quicker, but he still burns everything. But I’m trying to encourage him because occasionally he turns out something halfway decent. But that means I get to eat the good part and he has to eat the burned part, and as long as he’s okay with that then I’m willing to let him keep trying. One of these days we might both get an unburned steak at the same time. The problem with all the burned food is that in order to burn more food on the grill he has to clean the grill off from the last time he burned food on the grill. It’s a vicious cycle.

So needless to say, the hubby needs a heavy duty grill brush. He can’t use some wimpy brush. He had one. He melted it. He needs a heavy duty tool that can do the job and not melt under pressure. Ladies I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. So I got him the Alpha Grillers grill brush. This is definitely the right tool for the job. It has an 18 inch shaft to really get a good grip and do the job. It’s shaped just right to get into all the spaces that a normal tool can’t reach. And it has tough stainless steel bristles to really clean the grill. I’ll bet you forgot we were talking about a grill brush didn’t you?

Your husbands cooking sounds like my cooking. I tend to forget that I'm cooking until I smell the food burning. Anyways, we cook out year round. My husband is an excellent cook, thank goodness, we'd be in trouble if he weren't. The grill does tend to get gunked up. We have a grill brush that's seen better days. It's time to replace it.

I have to hand it to him for continuing to try over and over again. One of these days, he will be a master griller! ;) Glad your husband is your saving grace. I may need to borrow him sometime lol!

My husband is also the grill master around here, and sometimes wonder if he even uses the grill brush at all. The Alpha Griller is much larger and better, and looks like something that I could clean up that grill right with. Thank you for the post.
