I’ve been making this for years. I have always used turkey instead of chicken. It’s one of my husband’s favorite foods. I’ll try it with chicken soon.

These would be perfect made with a panini press! My favorite sandwich at a restaurant I just loved (and am saddened has closed) had the apple and gouda, but the bread had cranberries and walnuts, which just made it so much better! I have a nice chunk of gouda. I just need to get some fresh apples.
