Winter is coming. No, I’m not a Game of Thrones fan. I’ve heard of it, but this honestly has nothing to do with this article. Literally, winter is coming. It’s September. Winter is going to be here before you know it. Now that doesn’t mean much to some people in the warmer climes, but for those of us that get snow (I wish we got more than we do), winter is coming. That means snow and ice and cold temperatures. And that means winterizing your home. Making sure the weather-stripping around your doors has a good seal. Making sure your concreate driveway is sealed so the salt doesn’t destroy it. Plastic on your windows so you stay nice and toasty. Do you need more insulation in the attic? Do you need to put down some more grass seed? Yes, you do this in the fall.

So there’s a lot of stuff you need to do. You know it. The first step is to go get all the stuff. The best place to do that is The Home Depot. There are a couple reasons for that. The first is that they will have everything you need. The second is that they have $50 iTunes gift cards on sale for a limited time.

Now you are probably thinking to yourself, “How exactly did she make that leap?” The answer is simple. If you are going to do any yard work or work around the house, you need music. My hubby lives by this rule. He loads up his phone with music, plugs in the ear buds and gets to work. The music makes it easy for him to concentrate and drown out the noise of any machinery he might happen to work with (also known as drowning out the noise of me and our kid). Yeah, I do the same thing, that’s how I know! Sound like a good idea? Head to The Home Depot and get in on this awesome iTunes sale!

Winter is on the way. I can feel it starting. I am excited to learn about this promotion. My husband loves iTunes and uses it to make his gym music mixes. This will make it even more affordable :)

I'm sorry, I was trying to make it about more than just the sale. I was hoping the kind of bullet points and bold would help!

I'm seeing the leaves falling off the trees already. I dread the colder months coming. Hopefully it won't be as cold and snowy as it was last year. We usually don't get much snow where I live, so when we get hit, people freak out.

I love shopping at stores like Home Depot and Loews. It's kind of odd, but I enjoy do it yourself projects. Especially if my husband is doing most of the work.
