Ozeri 12″ Textured Green Earth Pan Review

MY TAKE –

So I’m not a gourmet cook. Anyone who has followed this blog has heard me talk about my trial and tribulations in the kitchen as I learn my way around this mysterious room. One of the more interesting contraptions in the room is this thing called the “stove.” This device conveys heat to cook food items. But the tricky thing is that you can’t just throw food on the “stove,” it gets really messy really quick and burns. And that is just not tasty. To get around this, you need a “frying pan.” The frying pan goes on the stove, the food goes in the frying pan and very shortly you have cooked tasty food.

Now there are apparently several types of frying pans that you can use. Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Teflon. The problem is they all have their downsides. Cast Iron is really heavy (and I mean heavy) and it tends to break things when you drop them (like my toes…ouch). Stuff Sticks to Stainless Steel. Food burns easily on aluminum (I made that up, I don’t think it was really the pan that burned the food, but we’ll just blame it for now OK? OK.) and Teflon has all these chemicals that apparently come out when you are cooking…ewwww.

So here I am faced with this magical cooking device and nothing to put my food in (in this case I was attempting turkey burgers).
