Every time I see shea butter, smell shea butter, or even hear the words SHEA BUTTER I think of my daughter. It is funny that I was recently given the opportunity to try Key West Health & Beauty Shea Butter because my daughter’s birthday is coming up and my experience with shea butter really began with her. Let me explain!
When I was pregnant, I found myself trying 100s of different lotions on my skin to help my ever growing belly. Okay, maybe not 100s but you get the idea. Friends and family were constantly making suggestions of things that I should be trying on my skin to help maintain it. Personally, I think they were just freaked out by how big I was getting! I think at one point I even used olive oil … hmm… yeah, I did. Don’t judge me! It was there and I was willing to try anything. Did I mention I was huge? Needless to say, it didn’t work and my husband kept sniffing me.
Anyway, the one thing that I found that really helped was shea butter. I picked up a huge jar of it at a local warehouse store and lathered it on multiple times a day. I just wish I had been aware of Key West Healthy & Beauty at the time; I wonder if they would have been willing to send a vat to “soak” in. It goes on silky smooth, makes my skin feel amazing, and I love how it smells. I put this stuff everywhere, from my elbows to my feet. I love it!
Let’s take this a step further, shall we? HA, see what I did there? I mentioned my feet and then said a step further! Yeah, I am hilarious. Anyway, are you familiar with regions that experience true seasonal changes when it comes to weather? Let me note that frigid temperatures can result in drastic changes to our skin during the winter months. If you are not familiar with this, please, take my word for it! Skin dries out, it looks awful, and often it feels awful. During the colder months we run heat in our homes and we tend to spend more time inside. On the flip side, anytime we are on the outside, we are introduces to harsh conditions that we are not used to. In the end, our skin suffers the consequences of these changes. I just so happen to be really lucky and have drier hands than anyone I know. They crack, they bleed, they turn bright red, and they really, really hurt!
This season, I have a new best friend, a new “go to” if you will, Key West Health & Beauty Shea Butter. It will work to keep my skin hydrated, comfortable, and healthy. I just need to get three or four more jars so I have one with me at all times. Two in the house, one in the car, and one in my purse … hmmm … maybe one for my mom’s and sister’s too. Maybe I should just order a case, I wonder if they sell it in cases.
Not familiar with colder temperature regions? What about children?
I have a little one and she is always bringing something home from school, something we don’t want, like a cold or lord knows what else. We are constantly washing our hands. It is something that we do over, and over, and over and that too can really damage your skin. With my shea butter I don’t have to worry about snagging my silky sweats because my hands are so dry and rough.
Have you experienced Key West Health & Beauty Shea Butter? If not, what are you waiting for? Seriously, don’t walk … run to the website, be careful not to trip, and order yours now!
* Happy Birthday to my Mini Me! I love you to the stars, moon, and sun.
