The hubby is a computer geek. I admit it and have no regrets. He’s proud of it, so I’m proud of him. He’s not a Marine in dress blues, but I guess you can’t always get what you want (although if there are any hot Marines out there reading this, let me know). 😉
As a computer geek, the hubby is always on the search for his next computer, the next super powerful CPU thingy and hot graphics whatever, all so he can play Farmville and Candy Crush in super high-resolution on Facebook. Just kidding. But not really. There are times when I think that his desk looks like command central at the evil genius battle station until he informs me that he only has TWO monitors, and he really needs about 17 to be really organized. I don’t know what he could possibly do with 17 screens, and there isn’t room for that many, and his computer doesn’t have that many connector thingies so how could he hook up that many? But he just shrugs it off and mutters something about “blowing up Alderaan” which is a reference to Star Wars I think and then starts going on about how one monitor would be used for displaying a full size clock on the screen. He has a clock on the wall for Pete’s sake!!
Fortunately for him (I’m staying neutral) he now has a solution to get a little close to his dream of 17 monitors. The Liztek USB 3.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI Video Graphics Adapter Card. This lets him plug a USB thingy into his computer and then plug one of his monitors into the adapter doohickey and boom. He just plugged in Monitors three and four and he is scrounging around for number 5. Sigh…I need to hide the car keys and credit cards before he runs out and comes back with ten more.
