Lets Power Their Dreams ~ Rio 2016 #LetsPowerTheirDreams

by Heather

So in case you haven’t heard, there is this minor sports competition going on right now somewhere in South America. Brazil I think? That’s right!! It’s the Rio 2016 Olympic Games!!

Rio 2016

I love watching the Olympics every year. Well, not every year. Every Year when they’re on. You know what I mean. Whether it’s swimming or diving or downhill skiing (oh wait that’s winter) I love it. Well, maybe not golf so much, but hey, plenty of people must love it enough that they made it an Olympic sport again. But what I really love is the gymnastics.

That is the sport that rocks my world. I could sit and watch it for hours. It’s a little extra relevant now because my daughter (the klutz) wants to start gymnastics.

And I mean real gymnastics. She has already taken several tumbling classes. And boy has she done a lot of tumbling (if you catch my drift). But now she is into real gymnastics and that means we have to do a lot to support her. You know who else needs support? The Olympic athletes. Every parent knows how much it costs to get your kids into sports. Imagine what it costs for an elite athlete to train. That’s why you should be checking out all the P&G products at Walmart right now. Like my Gillette Venus® Swirl Razor. I love the way the FLEXIBALL™ lets it adjust to all the contours on tricky areas like my knees and ankles and leaves my skin flawless with virtually no missed hairs. Thanks to Walmart’s everyday low prices, I am able to pick up great products while supporting our Olympians.

P&G and Walmart support our Olympic athletes in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. We should, too. Who knows, someday it could be your gymnast, swimmer, or fencer up there needing our support. It’s like I told my little one … 2020 could be her year … Gabby did it and she can, too!

The opening and closing ceremonies are my favorites. I'm more creative than athletic.

Team USA rocks! So proud of our amazing athletes. We have had a great showing at the Olympics and our athletes have been so successful. Whether they won a medal or not, they should be incredibly proud just qualifying to compete. :)

I admire P&G for sponsoring Olympic athletes--and honoring their Moms, too.
