Life is a journey, not a destination. That’s the saying, right? Well, for me, it’s a little bit of both, but my two boys have been with me every step of the way on this journey. You see we recently moved, to a new destination.
When I received my two little bundles of joy (Christmas 2013 and Christmas 2014) it quickly became apparent that when they become two strapping young dogs, we were not going to fit in our little house.
You can see above where the dopey one (Oliver), stole his older brother’s (Felix) favorite spot. So, they grew and grew, and we went to obedience training to make them good members of doggy society (somehow the “stay off the couch” part didn’t stick, the obedience trainer would be very disappointed in me) and we were at the point of needing a new home to fit everyone comfortably.
Well I won’t tell you the sob story about my dream home, but let’s just say, I sold our home, the dream home didn’t work out so good, and I had to move in with my Mom (I know, I’m a grown woman). It was always supposed to be temporary (staying with mom), but it was only supposed to be a month. That turned into two, then three, then we found our new home. With plenty of room for them to stretch out.
Umm, just kidding.
And that’s just the basement. That doesn’t even count the back yard. Which is huge, but didn’t come with a fence. So, I put in a fence so they could run around. I’d add a picture of the giant fenced in yard, except its 3 in the morning and a big dark nothing doesn’t make for a great picture.
So nowww they are able to stretch out and have some room.
So maybe it’s hard to tell, but there really is more room, in the room. Where their new beds are.
And since they have been such good boys through this journey, they get a special treat.
I love True Chews® Dog Treats because they only contain all natural ingredients and are made in the USA. We have to be conscious of all the chemicals that go into so many of the food products we consume. Especially with dog products made outside the US.
With True Chews I don’t have to worry about either of those things. I can just enjoy spending time with my boys in our nice big house, although this is how they usually end up. My two boys pretending to be lap dogs hanging on mommy.
So if you want a special treat for your furkids, something you can be sure will be good for them and is made here at home, then head out to a specialty pet store today and pick up some True Chews. Your pets will thank you.
