We absolutely love hearing from our readers, affectionately known as Ninjas. In the last several days and among several comments there seems to be a common thread though and it is one that concerns us. The general census we’re picking up is “Is the offer Ninja posted okay?” or “How exactly does this offer work?”
We’d like to address this and hopefully calm any concerns you may have. The sites we post here and the links we share with you, we do so with a certain understanding that from our sources they are legitimate, safe, and secure. We would hope that you would trust that we would never intentionally here, at Pink Ninja Blog post something to cause harm to you or your computer. We wouldn’t want it done to us and therefore we won’t do it to you!
“So why am I getting an “invalid” link?” “Why can’t I access this site?” The answer to those questions is that with some of the postings we list, there is only allowance for a certain amount of visitors to the link itself, downloads of a coupon, or entries to a sign-up. Unfortunately those are numbers we here at Ninja have no control over. We do receive updates and receive notice when a link is to come down or is no longer available. When those notices are received, the Social Media promotion of the blog post ceases. However, since this is the world of the internet and with posting anything on the internet, once it’s there, it’s there. It cannot be retrieved. Therefore, what you see posted today may work, but should you come back next week or a month from now and try to click the links in that same post, they may not work. That we cannot control.
What we can control is scanning what is offered to us and using our best judgement in what we think will be of the most interest to you, our Ninjas, we decide which offers to share with you. At the time the post is made, again to the best of our knowledge the link is good and the site is trustworthy.
Now, on a personal level, I have anti-virus software. I look over offers, sweepstakes, coupons, and other links made available to me as a consumer. I decide what, if anything I wish to download. In doing so I know that there is a certain amount of risk, but upon making the choice to download or sign up for something, I accept responsibility for what I’m doing. When I fill a form out on the internet, I know and accept that the information I’m providing is going somewhere. Again, that’s a decision I’ve made though. When it comes to what is posted here on Pink Ninja Blog, there is nothing I post that I wouldn’t sign up for myself. If I don’t sign up for an offer posted here it is only because of not qualifying for the offer (I’m not mom to human children ~ Toby is my 4-legged child.), ethically not being able to enter a giveaway, or because it doesn’t interest me (Roblox ~ nothing wrong with the offer, but I don’t play games like that).
Thank you all for taking a moment out of your day to read this. We hope that any concerns you may have had are resolved. Should you still have questions, please do not hesitate to connect with us. We are here for you!
