I wreak havoc on technology. And, when I say havoc, I mean it is so bad that my husband has threatened to take my “toys” away. First, there is my computer. It is so old, or at least overworked, that the letters on the keys are worn away. It has been kicked, knocked on the floor, spilled on, dropped … you name it and it has happened. The Blu-ray player … umm, we will just keep this one short and sweet and I will admit that I’m not supposed to use it without supervision. Then there is my smartphone. The joys of a brand new phone! My little cutie pie turned 2 weeks old on Sunday; how old is yours? Let’s talk about my phone a bit more, shall we?
So, two Sundays ago we head to the local store to pick up a new device for me. I have been badgering my husband for MONTHS since my old phone would barely hold a charge, was scratched to heck and back, and liked to turn off and would refuse to turn back on for sometimes minutes, sometimes hours, and even one time … a full day! It was time, folks. My old phone had played its part and it was time to retire the old gal. So anywho, we go to the store, pick out my beautiful, shiny, new phone … make the purchase … and leave. My husband carried the phone to the car and refused to hand it over until I had my seatbelt in place and my tray back was ready for takeoff. On the way home, I get the speech about protecting my new phone like it is a baby. He explains that he was an idiot and forgot to order a protective case for my phone before we made the purchase and asks if I think I will be able to handle two days without protection. DUH! I am an adult and can protect the phone with my life for two days. We pull in the driveway, I gather my stuff, get out of the car, and my phone hits the pavement. DANG! Epic Failure.
I don’t know what happened or how but by the grace of someone watching over me the phone was perfectly fine. I brought it inside, sat it down gently, and barely touched, unless I had to, for the next two days. Then, my protection arrived … the Galaxy S6 Case by aLLreLi!
One of the aspects of the case that I like is that it doubles as a wallet. With summer right on our doorstep I will be on the move more and visiting places like the park, zoo, and local amusement park. Thinking about it logically, these are all places that I have no desire to carry purse when visiting and for at least two of the three I will need to have money on hand. My phone is always with me so this is a win-win situation.
A little bit more about the case …
Multi Angle Stand – support of your phone for ease when chatting, texting, surfing the web, etc…
Premium Soft Leather – leather wraps around the side of the phone and keeps the screen covered when not in use.
Armor Back Cover – prevents breaks if phone drops (thank goodness!), and the magnetic clasp keeps the case closed.
Slim – streamlined design for ease of fit in a pocket, handbag, backpack, travel bag, etc…
I love the overall design of the case as it works to protect my phone. As an added bonus the stand allows my phone to remain visible, and therefore more user friendly, when I am not holding it in my hand. The case is thin and lightweight so it does not add to the phone and the case itself is attractive and easy to match with any attire.
Me personally, I do wish the case was a bit bulkier as I would like my phone to have as much protection as possible. I do however love that this case has a front cover that protects the screen when it is not in use.
Needless to say, I am on the fence about the case. I originally thought the Armor back would provide ample protection; however, someone as clumsy as me. I’m not so sure. I do love the stand on the case and the cover that protects the screen … OH … and the wallet! What a conundrum.
