Tradition. Like many people, traditions are very important to me. Things that I experienced on a regular basis when I was growing up (you know…traditions) I want to pass on to my daughter and share with my husband. And not just big events like the sparkly amazing Christmas mornings or fun trips to the pumpkin patch on a cool autumn day. But everyday things. Spending Saturday cleaning the house (we’ve skipped a few too many of those lately). Sitting around the kitchen table playing rummy (my daughter cheats, but is finally starting to catch on to the game) or a board game. Or going out to eat as a family. Simple things.
Now when I was growing up we didn’t have a lot of money to go out to eat all the time (and the options were pretty limited in my part of town). But every so often the family would pack up and go out to Frisch’s for a Saturday evening meal or Sunday morning breakfast. Man did I love that. Wandering up and down the breakfast bar trying to pick out what I wanted to eat all by myself. Or getting a Big Boy and the salad bar. Amazingly, that is one tradition that my daughter has picked up on without needing any real prompting. She loves the same things. Even now, if I say “Where do you want to go to dinner?” Her answer, if we’re going to “eat there,” is Frisch’s.
But Frisch’s isn’t content to rest on their laurels of providing good food that is affordable. They are stepping it up a notch with their new 1/3 pound Primetime Burgers. Made with 100% premium hand-crafted beef, the new Primetime Burgers are out of this world. But at a price that is still down to earth. The new burgers come in three varieties: Classic, BLT, and Mushroom Swiss. All three are served on a new butter-grilled brioche bun. The Classic comes with real cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle and Frisch’s famous tartar sauce. The BLT comes with real cheddar cheese, hickory-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayonnaise. The Mushroom Swiss is made with real Swiss cheese and savory sautéed mushrooms and onions. All three burger are only about six dollars. Talk about amazing taste at a reasonable price. I got a chance to try all three of the new burgers and they were amazing. They tasted like a burger that you would easily pay 2 to 3 times as much for at a top burger restaurant (hey, we’ve all been to those places). Well, now I have just one more reason to keep the Frisch’s tradition alive with my family. Even better, they are debuting TOMORROW, April 6, 2016!
So, what are you doing for dinner tomorrow? I don’t know about you but I’m thinking about heading to Frisch’s with my family to try their delicious new Primetime Burgers!
