FlavFusion Infuser Water Bottle Review #FruitFusion

a3686d99868b03204ee938e9141ce3d0aa9236a6I drink a ton of water daily. Sometimes it is a real effort but I do it. What is the ratio that you are supposed to drink? I think it is something like half of your body weight in ounces or something crazy like that. Realistically, it isn’t as difficult as it sounds. However, I always seem to get bored with water by the end of the day. I have found that the flavored waters or the water mixers just taste funny or are far too sweet. I just want something that will make my water taste good without changing it completely. Something that will make it taste crisp, something to add a little zip or zing… something! My new FlavFusion Infuser Water Bottle has really made a splash. Get it? See what I did there? We are talking about a water bottle and I said splash … Anyways, the FlavFusion is a water bottle but it is different than any water bottle you have ever seen. You take cut up pieces of fruit, insert them into the bottles basket, and let the flavors infuse you water. Flavor Fusion, FlavFusion, Flava Flav … sorry, I got carried away there!

I have tried so many different concoctions that I have lost track. I love cucumber water, orange water, strawberry water, kiwi water … Okay … we will be here all night if I keep talking. Let’s put it this way, if you name a fruit, it is likely that I have tried it and absolutely loved it. Banana, hmmm, I haven’t tried banana. I don’t think that would go well. Wait, where was I? Oh yes! The only fruit that I have not found to really successful is blueberries but I am not giving up. I will try again!

The best part of the bottle is the mesh basket inside that keeps the fruit from falling apart. Nobody likes little bits of anything floating around in their drinks; even if it is fruit bits. It doesn’t taste bad but it is not pleasing to the pallet, trust me.

I have tried using frozen fruit, which keeps the water colder for longer; however, the flavors are not as pronounced so this is not a method that I recommend. The idea is to infuse the water with flavor, if that doesn’t happen …. My recommendation is to cut up your fruit, add it to the water, and walk away. Let it sit for a while, come back, add some ice, and you are good to go. We are talking some seriously yummy water, people!

It’s time to get creative! What combinations can you think of? I am sitting here making a mental list as I type this. Just avoid bananas for umm obvious reasons I think.

Have you experienced FlavFusion? What is your favorite fruit combination?
