Do you Firmoo?

by Karen Hand

Ah ha, caught your attention, didn’t I? Chances are, if you wear corrective lenses, you might know what I am talking about. If you are one of the 200,000+ customers in the past 4 years, you will know what I am talking about. If not, I will fill you in. Let’s all Firmoo.

Do you Firmoo?

If you are an individual who needs to wear corrective lenses, you most certainly will be able to relate to what I am about to say. Both my husband and I have worn corrective lenses for years, as neither of us can wear contacts. So, we are forced to wear glasses. Don’t get me wrong, I truly don’t mind wearing glasses, but I am somewhat amazed at the cost involved. Now, your eye doctor will recommend that you have your eyes checked every two years, and if your prescription changes, that means that you will need to purchase new glasses. If your prescription hasn’t changed, you are lucky, you will still be able to wear your same glasses. Most of the time, however, you aren’t that fortunate.

With the exception of the last trip to our eye doctor, we have always purchased our glasses from the optical department within the doctor’s office. However, just last fall, my husband went in for his regular check up only to discover that his prescription had changed, therefore he would need to purchase new glasses. Since the optical department was no longer present in the doctor’s office, we went to one of the local optical stores in our area. We walked out paying over $600 for a pair of new glasses for my husband. Well, let me take that back. The company was having a 2 for 1 sale, which meant that he got a pair of sunglasses, too. However, he rarely wears his sunglasses because his new pair of glasses are tinted to guard against sunlight. I think that even the most affluent class would find it questionable to have to pay that amount for new glasses, and for those without insurance, it puts a big dent into your budget. That’s why when I was recently introduced to Firmoo, I jumped at the chance to try them out.

Many thanks to Firmoo who allowed me to order new glasses through their online program. When I received my glasses, I also received a cleaning cloth, hard glass case, glasses repair kit, and also a soft glass case.

What is Firmoo? Plain and simple, it is a global online optical store. Whenever I conduct a review for a company that I have never dealt with, I always like to enlighten our followers a bit about the company itself, as they might not know anything about the company either:

“Aim – Vision & Fashion the Frugal Way

  • Vision – An ideal pair of prescription glasses as a half medical tool to correct vision should be made up of a quality frame and lenses with accurate prescription. We promise all our eyeglasses frames are of high quality. Besides, all eyewear provided by us goes through strict inspection by our experienced opticians before shipping to ensure the accuracy of lens prescription. That’s why we keep the lowest return and exchange rate among all online optical stores worldwide.
  • Fashion – We offer classic and fashion glasses frames for you to choose from. All of these frames which are quite popular in the world are elaborately picked by our staff from thousands of frames in the market.
  • Frugal way – Our prescription eyeglasses are inexpensive even though with high quality, therefore, everyone can afford it. ”I will be the first to admit that I had my doubts about purchasing any glasses from an online store. I had the opportunity, so I decided to try it out, since I needed another pair of glasses as a spare. Now, I don’t know why I was so hesitant to try an online optical store, I guess it was because I was leery whether the prescription would be correct. Boy, was I wrong. I was totally shocked at the clarity of my new glasses the first time I put them on and every time I have worn them since. The prescription is right on the money. And what is even better, is any future purchase that we make with Firmoo will be made knowing that we will be saving hundreds of dollars.

I couldn’t believe how simple the ordering process was. When you first sign onto the site, you will go to the special area that you are interested in, whether it is for new glasses for a man or a woman, specialty eyewear, or sunglasses. As I was in the market for new glasses for myself, I clicked on the women’s glasses area. In each category, the site is divided into sections for shape, material and frame. You can also select by color, size, shape and frame. Since I had never purchased any glasses online before this occasion, I clicked on the tab on the bottom of the screen that offers you tips for purchasing your new glasses. After reading that information, I then proceeded to look at the different shape frames. I could even “try a pair on” by uploading a selfie. After I had selected a few frames, I then had to narrow down my selection to whether that particular frame was available for either a single lens, bi-focal or progressive. After making my final selection, I then clicked the Add to Cart button and was taken to an area where I would input my prescription information. You will need to have your prescription handy at this point. You will then select your lens type, and any additives you wish such as tinted lenses. Then simply check out.

Don’t pass up this offer. Check it out on the Firmoo website.

Of course, you will want to be sociable as well by visiting the Firmoo’s Facebook page, and their Twitter, Pinterest and Google+ pages, too.

Don’t be skeptical about ordering your glasses online like I was. I have since learned my lesson and will never purchase another pair of glasses from anywhere else but Firmoo. The pair of glasses that I received proved to me that the company is trustworthy and very economical. Now, the question is, what am I going to do with all the money that I am saving by using Firmoo?

I hear ya on a prescription changing at every appointment. My eyes are getting worse and I have to buy new frames after my appointment. This last time I was told it was time for bifocals!!! I am only 41!! I do wear contacts more regularly than glasses, so I had to purchase both. Ordering online sounds like a stress free way to get new frames.

Thanks, Karen, For the Terrific Review on Do you Firmoo? At first, I was taken aback with a word like Firmoo! I don't wear glasses on a regular basis, however, I think that will be coming sooner than I expect! I have diabetes and I have to go to my eye doctor for an exam every year! I wear the "el cheapo" glasses that you can get at the dollar store for magnification purposes! I have a hard time reading without them! I can't read the words! This last visit, there was some sort of problem with my eyes, however, I don't know if they ever figured it out! They say that your cornea (I think that's the one) should look like a bowl with 1 scoop taken out. Mine supposedly looks like a bowl with a lot of scoops taken out! I had my glaucoma test and the pressure came out fine. I don't know if they have figured this out or not! I guess I'll find out when I go again this year! Both my husband and I are disabled and we only have Medicare. I'm pretty sure that Medicare does not cover any part of glasses! They cover the cost of my exams because of my diabetes. This Online Optical Store Firmoo sounds like they are really great with their pricing and their glasses! I may just end up using them if the doctor prescribes glasses for me this year! Thanks for sharing this Website and your experience with them with all of us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele :)
