The Apollo spacecraft. It was the vehicle that landed on the moon. The pinnacle of modern technology. But here’s the thing about modern technology, it keeps advancing. It’s been said that a modern calculator has more computing horsepower than the computer on the Apollo lander. That’s probably true, but it took a while for that to happen. As the pace of technology innovation has increased, that sort of thing keeps happening more and more. Sometimes I feel like my brand new phone has more computing horsepower than my laptop. And my laptop is only 4 years old. So in the span of the lifetime of my child, my computer has gone from screaming fast modern laptop to paperweight. It’s time for a new computer.
So I know I need a new computer, but the question is what kind? I kind of want a Mac.
Haha, just kidding. I would never own a Mac.
