Everyone You’re Going To Love This Band!

by Jenn

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Jel Sert. All opinions are 100% mine.

There’s nothing my kids want more in the summer than Otter Pops!  It’s a rare occasion for us to not have at least a handful of Otter Pops in the freezer.  Catie, my teenage daughter loves her Otter Pops.  If I take her with me to the store we always have to stock up on the Otter Pop crew.  Which makes this post that much more fun to write about!

Otter Pops are made with real fruit juice, some even contain 100% fruit juice.  They also contain NO major allergens, which makes them a good choice for kids. That’s not the only reason to love Otter Pops, there is some fun history involved.  Yes, fun history behind the Otter Pop gang.

Did you know that there is an Otter Pop band?  Yes, they are not only fruit flavored pops, but bring fruit flavored melodies to our ears.  Let me introduce the Otter Pop gang to you.  Hold on to your hats, you’re going to love this!

Poncho Punch – Guitar/Latin charm, you might remember him from the soap opera Fruta De Pasion.  Yes that is where it all began for old Poncho Punch who is now playing the guitar and singing for the Otter Pop band.

Lil Orphans Orange – From the backwaters of Lake Erie, the most positive of the band, with a street smart sprit it Lil!  You’ll find her singing with her Otter Pop friends.  Maybe roller skating too, but never complaining as her biggest pet peeve is complainers.

Alexander The Grape – Don’t you know the grapiest triangle player you will meet.  If you’re lucky you might run into Alexander touring the ancient ruins, but not early in the morning because he doesn’t like alarm clocks.

Louie-Bloo Raspberry – Don’t figure he is the Upright Bass player.  Be on the lookout for Louie is a Jazz Poet, and has wrote a book of verse called The Sweet Raspberry of Yesterday.  He is originally from New Otterleans

Kook Strawberry – Always smiling because she is drumming her little heart out and signing some magical tunes  You can also way find Kook I the kitchen fixing desserts, but never being a bully, but never being a party-pooper.

Sir Isaac Line – Listen up close to this awesome Otter Pops British scientist play the piano.

While the kids eat Otter Pops simply because it is HOT outside, they also love them for dessert.  The kids love them, and mom’s happy because it’s so much healthier than a brownie, or cookies.  My teenager loves Otter Pops so much that she decided to make this picture of her most favorite Otter Pop of all; Sir Isaac Lime.  What do you think, looks just like him right?!?!?!

Do you eat Otter Pops?  Who’s your most favorite Otter Pop of all?

I've never heard of the frozen ice or the band. I like the idea of frozen juice instead of a sugary snack. As for the band. I'll check on you tube. I'm curious.

Otter pops are a staple during the summer! I wonder why I had no idea they had real fruit juice? I think we just grab them with out looking even though I usually pay closer attention.
