Easy Mealtime Hacks

I can’t remember the last time I spoke to someone who complained that their life wasn’t busy enough. In fact, now that I think about it, I can’t actually remember the last time I spoke with someone who said their life wasn’t busy. I am a busy momma that is constantly on the go, runs a business, and tries to maintain healthy relationships BUT I still like to feed my family healthy meals. Sometimes, this is extremely difficult with our daily schedules. I’m not afraid to admit that I am willing to accept a helping hand anytime one is offered. Without further adieu, Van’s Foods to the rescue!

Hello from Van’s Foods!

We know how busy life can be for Van’s foods fans. Between work, working out, parenting, driving, walking, riding, creating, days get full – fast.

Some meals are easy, and you’ve got plenty of time to plan, shop and put together something delicious.

Other times, there’s yoga or soccer or Scouts or a late meeting, and you need something fast and easy that you can still feel good about eating.

Which brings us to our gift to you this month – easy, nutritious mealtime hacks from your friends at Van’s. They’re all delicious, nutritious and a cinch to pull together.

First up?

Breakfast. To pack a quick protein punch, start with Greek yogurt and pair it with whatever fresh or frozen fruit you’ve got on hand. Add Van’s Soft Baked Whole Grain Granola Clusters and you have decadent flavor and a hearty, wholesome start to your day. (With taste like that, you’d never guess they’re gluten-free!)

Snack. Now before you put away those breakfast fixings, tuck that handy re-sealable bag of granola in your briefcase, purse or backpack. It’ll be there for you all day as a soft, chewy pick-me-up whenever the snacking urge strikes. The best part? You can feel great about every whole grain bite.

Dinner. For homemade feel in a fraction of the time, gather the following: Van’s new gluten-free Ultimate Cheddar Penne Pasta, a rotisserie chicken and the fresh or frozen veggie of your choice.

Warm up your veggies while your pasta is cooking – and take a moment to slice the chicken for serving. Season your veggies with salt and pepper and serve with the pasta and chicken. (For variety, you can also choose Van’s Rotini & Red Sauce or Creamy Herb & Garlic pasta.

No time for veggie prep? Grab some pre-cut crudités while you’re at the store, and embrace the convenience.

I love finding hacks for meal preparation, especially ones that are going to leave my family feeling satisfied and full. I especially liked the chicken one those pre-cooked chickens in the store are one of my go to meals. They make everything such a snap, and it's super easy, while getting your source of protein!

That's way too much food. I can't believe that people actually eat three times a day and then snack too! I can have a yogurt cup and be good for the day.

For me, the easier, the better. I don't cook so I like foods that can be popped in the microwave or are pre made mixes.

Thanks for the Fantastic Review on Easy Mealtime Hacks courtesy of Van’s International Foods, Inc.! I have a question, what the heck are crudites? They looked like string beans to me! Never heard that word before now! I'll help you out with your busyness and you can come here and help me...ok? LOL I've never had plain yogurt before, I've always gotten it flavored with the fruit already in it! I could use that and I do have some granola bits as well! Sounds good to me! It's difficult for me to always plan a terrific healthy meal right now because of the limitations I have at the grocery store! We had English Muffin Pizzas for dinner tonight! I got the muffins at our local pantry and I bought pizza sauce in a small jar and some cheese to put on it! The kids loved them! Me, Eh, I can take em or leave em! Thanks for sharing your fantastic review, the delicious pictures, and your personal and professional opinions on Easy Mealtime Hacks courtesy of Van’s International Foods, Inc. with all of us! You know that I always appreciate your reviews! Thanks so Much! Michele :)
