I never go without my anti virus program. I have never had an issue. I also have made a back up disc. You cannot go on the internet without protection, eventually you will have a problem.

I can attest to how dangerous a virus can be. My husband purchased a brand new laptop but failed to put anti-virus software on it. Needless to say, he acquired a virus that completely deleted his hard drive. It then ruined his mother board. Thankfully we were still under warranty but it took almost three months to get a working computer again. I now make sure that any computer, from the start, has an anti-virus software on it.

Definitely a must to keep your computers healthy. I am happy with Malware Bytes though, which is FREE!

My husband recently purchased a new laptop for me and our anti-virus program is one that is provided by our internet provider. So far, I have been pleased with this service, but one can never be too safe when it comes to the internet. I’ll check into this VIPRE Internet Security though. Thanks.

I always have protection on my computer. Right now I’m using a free program but have paid $40/annual for programs. It seems it can be a gamble finding a good program.
