Don’t Get Caught Without Protection for You’re Computer!

by Jenn

This post brought to you by Vipre. All opinions are 100% mine.

In my line of work there’s nothing scarier than a virus, malware, spyware, or anything else getting on my computer that’s not supposed to be there.  You don’t have to be a blogger for it to be scary and something you think about.  In today’s world the World Wide Web is almost a necessity, for many of us it is how we care for our families.  Whether Google is your best friend because you look up information, or you make money online, it’s scary.

Getting a virus of any kind can cause so many unneeded problems, and often result in spending money to fix the issues they often be expensive to fix as well.  Trust me I am recovering from an issue with Malware on one of my blogs.  It’s gone now thankfully, but when I first found out about it I wanted to cry.  Okay I admit it I did cry.  Needless to say I’ve been putting MUCH more time and energy into being sure I am as protected as I possibly can be.

I have a friend that’s a total tech geek.  I asked him what the best way to protect my computer would be, is there such thing as the “best” antivirus/internet security program?   He told me that he’s been using VIPRE and loves it, he highly recommended it.  He informed me that there’s a 30 day FREEE trail period to see how I like it.

I have to say I’m very impressed with VIPRE Internet Security so far.  Once I started learning a little more about VIPRE Internet Security I learned that it’s the award-winning software.  VIPRE comes with a firewall, spam filter, and bad website blocking to help protect you from all the nasty stuff on the web.  I love it, I can do a full system scan and not even notice its running.  I’m actually running a full-system scan as wel speak.

I was going to take a snapshot of how easy downloading and installing is, but I already had this installed on my computer.  I also love that I can hit the button, do a full-system scan, and not even notice it’s going on.

One of my favorite features is that it automatically patches security in software such as Java, Adobe, Skype, and Windows.  Infections can sneak in using out of date software.  So far I’m extremely happy with VIPRE Internet Security software.

I love that you’re able to try VIPRE Internet Security for 30 days before you buy, the whole program.  There’s nothing worse than only trying bits and pieces.  When you download the 30 day trial you’re experiencing everything VIPRE has to offer.  I love that I can scan my entire computer while I’m typing up a blog post and not experience my computer running slow or even freezing up.  Everything runs nice and smooth, and it gets everything.

Before I installed VIPRE on my old laptop I did a scan with another “trusted” antivirus program.  I was amazed at the things VIPRE picked up that my other software did not.  So far I’m extremely happy with VIPRE, it’s been the smoothest antivirus program I’ve had yet.  Check out a few of my favorite features:

  • Easy to Install
  • Certified Antivirus Protection
  • Anti-spyware Protection
  • Low performance impact
  • Real-time Active Protection
  • Email and Chat protection
  • Removable media scanning
  • Easy update
  • Two-way firewall protection
  • Anti-spam protection
  • Bad website blocking

Downloading and installing is as easy as the push of a button.  You can also buy a lifetime of protection for a great price.  If you don’t want to purchase the lifetime protection there’s other options available.  It’s pretty awesome, you can also protection your mobile device and tablet as well.

If you’re on the lookout for a great way to protect your computer, cell phones, and tablets I suggest trying VIPRE Internet Security.  Remember you get to try the entire program for 30 day before you have to buy it.  Hurry over and learn more about VIPRE at  I think you’ll be happy you did.

If you head over to check out VIPRE Internet Security let me know how it works for you.  I would love to hear your feedback on VIPRE.

It is a good idea to always have protection. My son's security protection expired and his computer was invaded by a virus and died a prompt death.

Computer protection is something I'm a stickler about...never go without it. I got a virus once and it crashed my computer. Yuck!

Thanks for the info. We had an issue once, even with virus protection! Things change all the time and you have to keep up.

I always have protection on my computer. Right now I'm using a free program but have paid $40/annual for programs. It seems it can be a gamble finding a good program.

My husband recently purchased a new laptop for me and our anti-virus program is one that is provided by our internet provider. So far, I have been pleased with this service, but one can never be too safe when it comes to the internet. I'll check into this VIPRE Internet Security though. Thanks.

I can attest to how dangerous a virus can be. My husband purchased a brand new laptop but failed to put anti-virus software on it. Needless to say, he acquired a virus that completely deleted his hard drive. It then ruined his mother board. Thankfully we were still under warranty but it took almost three months to get a working computer again. I now make sure that any computer, from the start, has an anti-virus software on it.

I never go without my anti virus program. I have never had an issue. I also have made a back up disc. You cannot go on the internet without protection, eventually you will have a problem.

Ha Ha! When I saw the title the first thing that popped into my warped head was a computer covered in a condom!
