Dollywood Meets Hollywood on Trading Faces!

by Jenn

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Trading Faces for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have three girls, and I spend a lot of time talking to them about inner beauty.  I think I have drilled it in enough that they understand what I mean, because they come to me every now and again to tell me about this person who they used to think was pretty until they did something and they realized their true colors.  It’s true, inner beauty will out shine outer beauty any day of the week, or time of the day.  If you are a good person, who feels good about who they are, and where they are going in life it shows, and those people typically have a radiant glow about that that shines through.

Which is why I think ULTA Beauty rocks!  At ULTRA Beauty they celebrate women whose inner beauty radiates outward, who know themselves well enough to take a few risks with their daily routines.  Those who are willing to approach their look as their do life – with curiosity, enthusiasm and originality.  Which is great, and I love that they help speared their belief, and even invite people to join the fun – beauty is a joyful, lifelong adventure.

ULTA Beauty is presenting something awesome called Trading Faces.  I know, you are wondering what in the world it’s all about.  I think you are going to like this too.

Trading Faces

Trading Faces celebrates original beauty by inviting two real women!  You like that, real women! I know I sure do, they are inviting two REAL women, with two unique beauty’s looks that the reelects two different regions of the United States to trade their styles.  You know as well as I do that trends don’t stay long, they come and go, but regional styles typically stick around.  They are unique, have a look and feel all of their own, and I am going to guess there will be fun stuff that comes from strangers who meet, bond, and trade their daily hair, skin, and makeup routines.  Sounds fun right!  I would do it, would you?

Trading Faces will be paying women from Dollywood with a woman from Hollywood, and viewers can see what happens when one of us proud southern belle’s trade faces with someone who’s LA glamorous.  Oh, things could get a little interesting.  I don’t know, us southern women tend to have a walk and talk all of our own.

Trading Faces will live on ULTRAtradingfaces.com, which is a site that will include a 4 minute film before and after look, beauty tips and tricks from each women who takes part in Trading Faces.  You will also get to look inside their makeup bags, haha.  There will be portraits of each women, behind the scenes outtakes, and extra regional content will be available on ULTRA’s Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram page.

Head on over and learn more about ULTA.

No, I would definitely lot do this. I have my own unique style and I would not want to take on another person's style. Thank you for this review.

This is definitely not something that I would do, but it would be interesting to see how someone else handles it.

Is this an actual television show? If so, when does it air? I'd really like to watch the program.

You are right on spending so much time with your daughters and speaking truth into their hearts and souls about true beauty. Often times there are so many voices that scream untruths about beauty that leave girls/women confused. This show sounds amazing, I wonder when it airs, I'd like to see if it might be something my daughter and I might like.

Some of the prettiest people can be ugly because of the way they treat others. Often, those that aren't so pretty can be beautiful once you get to know them. I'd like to see this.

This sounds like fun. I will have to check this site out. I truly believe that beauty does come from within. God made us all beautiful but in different ways. Thank you so much for sharing this article
