DIY Halloween Goody Bags

halloween goody bags

During Halloween, or Trick-or-Treating, you have tons of kids coming to your door for candy. Try something new this year and be creative. There are so many different ways you can make little goody bags and things to pass out to children. They will love these because they are creative! These are also great for classrooms. Maybe your child is having a party at school and the teacher wants them to bring something in for the party.

At our house, I will be making goody bags for Trick-or-Treat AND my daughter’s class. We live in a large neighborhood with over 200 hundred houses so there are always a lot of Trick-or-Treaters; we are so popular that van loads of kids even show up! ;) While I can’t afford to make goody bags for the hundreds of visitors that we receive, we are able to set aside about a dozen bags for the neighborhood kids that my daughter plays with after school and on weekends. This allows us to give a little something extra without breaking the bank. The same holds true for the classroom but we will be creating goody bags for all. Luckily, my daughter’s class is having a Halloween party on Friday and that will be the perfect time to add a few more treats to this fun holiday!

These goody bag ideas are great for the classroom as well. Get busy, get creative, because Halloween is just around the corner.

That's a good idea. Kids get way too much candy. It's always nice to get a small hand made gift.

Oh what a great idea! I have never done anything like this before. I guess it's too late now but, next halloween?

I really like the idea of a treat bag. It sounds a bit ambitious making bags to pass out to the trick or treaters. It's something that they'll appreciate
