I love to cook. I’m not always great at it. So, I watch a lot of cooking shows. One of my favorite hosts is Alton Brown. I love his disdain of Unitaskers. Single use kitchen gadgets. So, is a microwave oven a Uni-tasker? Probably technically not, but still the ability to do more than one thing in an appliance really gets me excited. And so, we come to the Breville Combi 3-in-1 Microwave. Good-bye Unitasker Microwave hello new hotness.
So why am I excited about this microwave? Because it’s more than just a microwave. Can you say convection oven? I loved my old toaster oven (some Colby cheese on an English muffin) and I love my air fryer (mmm, chicken wings and egg rolls). And now there is apparently one appliance that can do the job of both of those and the microwave, but only take up the counter space of one. And that is why I’m in love. And the awesome doesn’t stop there.
Have you ever tried to sneak downstairs to heat up a microwave chimichanga at 11pm only to close the microwave door and wake up the kids? Or is that just me? The Combi 3-in-1 has a quiet close door that keep those kids asleep while you get your evening snack. Or maybe that’s just me. I hope I’m not the only one that likes microwave chimichangas.
