Wow, I just finished reading a strangely fantastic, amazingly unique, particularly interesting book. Breathless and wanting more would be the best way to describe how The Braille Club by J.A. Kerr left me feeling. Suffice to say, I have been introduced to a new world, so to speak, and I would love to be invited in.

Kerr’s novel is alluring and gives readers an intimate look at a lifestyle that many would see as taboo. Each chapter provides a new tidbit of information about The Braille Club and introduces well-developed characters that are realistic and easy to identify with. It is the characters that make this “new world” seem a little less out of reach, a little more tempting, and sometimes a lot more erotic.

For me, as I read, the underlying question that kept popping into my head was … how far would I be willing to go for my relationship? What would I be willing to experience to rekindle a passion that I knew nearly 15 years ago when my husband and I first met. Think on the most intimate of levels that you are able to imagine and then take it a step or two further and you probably still won’t completely understand The Braille Club. The “awakening” that I felt while reading Kerr’s novel leads me to believe that I am more than willing to go the distance. Enough about me!

Suspenseful, sensual, and intimate are easily words one would use to describe Kerr’s novel and they are just enough to get you hooked and wanting for more. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

ABOUT THE BRAILLE CLUB

Benedict is the master of detachment; this detachment will last until his first encounter with The Braille Club. It will become his obsession. He meets Siena, another club member with explosive results. This is their story; about the games they play and their all-consuming passion.

Harrisons is London’s newest private members club and home to the secret Braille Club.

“The Braille Club is just another club, like a diamond is just a stone!”

Benedict’s eyes are closed…

What does he hear… a gasp… silence, a sensuous aroma… arousal, and then… a touch. He’s ready. Are you?

The Braille Club… imagine an air of darkness where extraordinary things happen to you and your senses. Where only touch leaves a memory…

Welcome to the world of a select group, who walk into the dark, in order to see the light. Who need to be blind … before they can see…?
