General Mills sponsored this post, but the thoughts and opinions are my own.
Well it’s back to school time. We’ve had a whole almost two weeks off for the holidays. Wait, not even two weeks off? Why does it seem like when I was a kid (yes I just went there) that we got almost the whole month of December off? Well, now we get almost two weeks. So, while sleeping in, Christmas shopping, decorating, and baking cookies was a fun break from the school year, now we have to get ready to get back to school.
That means getting up way too early and scrambling to get the kids dressed, fed, lunches made, and the kids dressed and fed. Did I say that twice? That’s because lunches are the easy part (we do most of that the night before). Wrangling the kids into their clothes and trying to get them to eat something before we rush out the door is the hard part.
Thankfully, General Mills cereals and Walmart have our back when it comes to the rest. Well, maybe not the getting dressed part. But they definitely have some help coming our way for the breakfast part.
Cheerios have always been a huge part of our morning breakfast routine. As opposed to our evening breakfast routine. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the occasional evening bowl of cereal. Or more than occasional to be honest. But on a busy school morning a bowl of Cheerios is a go to breakfast for many of us.
General Mills now has Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios. I’m pretty sure the hubby just died and went to heaven when he heard me say Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios. And now with this great back to school offer from General Mills and Walmart, it’s a great time to stock up on a fantastic breakfast to make sure your kids get a good start to their day. So head on over to Walmart and grab yourself a box (or two, or seven) of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios. Now I just need to hide them from the hubby so the kids can have some for breakfast.
