AutoAir™ 500 Dishwasher from Bosch by Best Buy

by Erik

I have a dishwasher. It’s a dishwasher. Have you heard the saying that if you can’t say anything nice then say nothing at all? I’m not going to say anything else about my dishwasher.

I lied, I’m going to complain about my dishwasher. I’ll start off by saying that it came with the house, so obviously I didn’t pick it out.

But it is sooo loud. And by loud, I mean that you can’t hear yourself think when it is running through certain cycles.

And it doesn’t actually work so well. I can’t count the number of times we have to run certain dishes through more than once. Dishes that it should get clean the first time.

Have I mentioned that I have plenty of dishes that I can’t even get in the dishwasher? Since it is a basic builder model dishwasher, nothing is adjustable on it. I mean nothing. It has two wash settings and two racks. And this annoying “thing” (I don’t even know what to call it) that sticks up in the middle of the top rack. So, I can’t do a quick wash/rinse. I can’t adjust the racks to get anything tall in the bottom rack. The annoying thing in the top rack keeps me from putting anything big in the top rack.

I ran into this same situation at my old house. New house, builder grade dishwasher, crappy, super loud dishwasher.

But I’m not going to live with it this time. You know what I want? An AutoAir™ Bosch 500 Series dishwasher.

This dishwasher looks amazing, for multiple reasons.

Number 1. It is quiet. At 44 decibels, it is quieter than a normal conversation. Imagine being able to stand in your kitchen and think without feeling like you are sitting next to a jet engine.

Number 2. It has adjustable racks. Maybe it seems trivial but imagine being able to move the racks around to fit all your stuff. That would be almost heaven. Or how about a third rack?

Number 3. Ever had a dishwasher flood your kitchen? I have. I overloaded the rinse aid thingy and next load I ran, soap suds everywhere. What if your dishwasher was smart enough to detect this and stop? The Bosch 500 with 24/7 Aquastop® can do exactly that. I don’t really want to put that to the test, but it’s nice to know it is there.

Number 4. Know why it is called AutoAir? When the dishwasher is done it opens the door to let all the steam escape and fresh air.

And those are just 4 reasons. I could go on. Like the Sanitize option. Or the larger interior. No, really, I need to stop. And go out and get a new dishwasher. You should too. So head on over to Best Buy and see the AutoAir Bosch 500 today.
