Apple TV+ Jane Stars Discuss Endangered Animals and New Series

by Heather

Apple TV+ Jane stars Ava Louise Murchison and Mason Blomberg share details of their new series, what it was like meeting Jane Goodall, and how their desire to work with endangered animals and help the environment has grown exponentially. This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for Apple TV+.

When is the last time you sat down with your family to watch an educational series and within moments the entire family was engaged, everyone was smiling, and when the first episode was over, your teenager asked if you could watch more? As puppy/dog rescuers for a local rescue, it is fair to say that we have always been animal lovers but Jane has taken our love to new depths. I can’t remember the last time a series had me searching spots on our land to house bees, looking for sharks during our weekly trip to the grocery store, or you started thinking of ways to preserve the icecaps so polar bears won’t lose their homes?

Our family has fallen in love with the “Jane” series and we can’t wait for your family to experience the fun, too! Enjoy learning about endangered animals, the cause/effect relationships within ecosystems, and how animals are impacted by human activity. The CGI Is playful, the premise of each episode is education and entertainment, and it has been a long time since I’ve felt this inspired. Did I mention that each episode closes out with Jane and David talking with a field expert that shares new photos, ways to help, and a hopeful message for the future? Add Jane to your family movie lineup, you won’t regret it!

Thanks to our friends at Apple TV+, we had the opportunity to sit down with Jane stars Ava Louise Murchison and Mason Blomberg to discuss the new series. My favorite part of our conversation is their call to action, for each family, as they provide easy ways for all of us to get involved and help! Check out all of the details below.

Johnson (“Dino Dana”, “Endlings,” “Ghostwriter”), Sinking Ship Entertainment and the Jane Goodall Institute, “Jane” premieres globally on Friday, April 14 on Apple TV+.

Ava Louise Murchison (“Reacher”) stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg (“Shameless”), and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

Cast also includes Tamara Almeida (“Secrets at the Inn”), Dan Abramovici (“Wayne”), newcomer Jazz Allen and Sam Marra (“Stumptown”).

“I’m excited about this opportunity and relationship with Apple and Sinking Ship. The program ‘Jane’ spreads a message of hope and reminds children that the environment is something that we all have to be concerned about while also inspiring them and their parents to make a difference,” said Dr. Jane Goodall.
