I served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Being a female I did not see action, but had the pleasure of issuing supplies and paper pushing stateside. I fulfilled a purpose and I am proud of my service. It made me who I am today. I am also proud to reveal that my two sons served in the Air Force and Navy while stationed in Kuait and Iraq. They are honorable and outstanding Americans. We all love our country and if given the chance would do it all over again.

My dad was in WWII and was a cook in the Army and my brother was in the Vietnam War in the Navy and was on the U.S.S. Mars & the U.S.S. Aludra which were both supply ships. He never really stepped on Vietnam soil, but he was off the coast of Viet Nam when they docked to deliver supplies of all types i.e. ammunition, medical, food etc. Uncles, cousins also in the service and last, but not least my oldest son was a marine! I'm so proud of him. My boy was a Marine!

My grandfather served in two wars, Korea and Vietnam, and having such a close family member that served in the military always makes me feel close to causes that go towards serving military members and veterans alike

My husband served 10 years in the Army. Winning this gift card would help us greatly. We struggle financially since he got out a few months ago. He suffers from ptsd making it hard for either one of us to hold down a job.
